Any Central NY Bears Yet?

We were wondering in camp if anyone has shot a bear in central New York now that some counties are opened for bear hunting now? It would be cool to say that I shot the first legal bear in Madison County in about 100 years.

I hunt Otsego County and although I've heard of ppl getting pictures of bear on trail cams I haven't heard of anyone shooting any.

I heard a bear was killed in archery season in Tompkins County. Shindagin Hollow.
