Nope. Not a one. I've heard of a couple sub-legal bucks taken a few years ago. Those guys took the to the game commission and got their $25 fine. I heard of a couple guys who accidentally shot spikes they thought were does. Neither deer were left to rot.

The only deer I found dead was a 6 pointer about 3 or 4 years ago. He was legal in our WMU. This was in archery season but also during the 1 week inline ML doe season. The buck looked like he was shot with a gun. Perhaps someone thought he was a doe and didn't look him over well enough? I can't see anyone in our area leaving him their to rot. If they weren't going to report it to the game commission, they would at least butcher it themselves. I don't know anyone who would let a deer rot.
