i was out and about last weekend, looking for sheds, turkey sign, and hanging a couple stands for deer season. i saw a couple in some fields, but did not hear one gobble, fri, sat or sun. maybe this warm weather will trigger some vocal activity. i am gonna do some more scouting the first week of april.

good luck this year!!!

I went out Saturday morning to a small tract of public land in Washington County, but heard none. A few of my buddies hit GreenRidge in Alleghany county over the weekend, but didn' t hear any either. However, my grandmother said she heard a few gobbling last week at her house. I think it may be a little early. Kinda hit and miss right now, but might actually work in our advantage come April 18th as we might hit the peak of the gobbling.
