Default Who,s going and who,s staying ???

Just curious how many hunters unfortionatly have to change there hunting plans this year?
I go to Steuben County every year with 5 buddies .
Its abought 6 hrs from home one way .
We have a couple guys in the group who may not go do to Fuel cost , Hotel rates , etc,
who not going and why ??

I won't be hunting at all this year. Costs are too high all around and I just can't find the time [>:]

nothing will stop me from going,,but that said i will plan my hunts better this year to keep fuel costs down,,,instead of hunting both morning and evening i will either hunt all day or just the evening during the week

Still going from Vt to Colorado for elk by truck. Probably won't be going to Ohio for shotgun but it has nothing to do with cost.

Ya those first time big hunts are exciting .
I tried my first one over 25 hrs of driving one way a couple years ago .
Right at normal prime time rut action .
Only problem was rut was late .
Did get a decent buck , but not as much chasing asWe had hoped for .
