Seen any Bigfoot?

I saw a show last night that documented cases of bigfoot sightings in the northeast. Pretty interesting stuff if you believe in it and stuff.

Anyone ever think about seeing one, or thought they saw one?

Nope, but I saw Champ once when fishing Lake Champlain.

I understand that some female bigfoot have been spotted at one of the local bars shortly after the midnight hour. The word on the street is that they have been trying to blend in by wearing jeans and flannel shirts.:D

I heard that their population is up to around 500 in Pennsylvania and that the Game Commission is going to open up a season for them....but in Special Reg. areas only. ;)

RE: Seen any Bigfoot?

That evening it was sighted again along the Little Lehigh stream near 15th Street in Allentown
....now that explains the traffic problems as I was getting off of 22. ;)

--------------------------------------

...and the answer is, no, I have not seen any yet in PA...but there is my wife when she gets out of bed in the morning. ;)

I still think the game commission drastically underestimates their numbers.

RE: Seen any Bigfoot?

I' m not sure I can explain now. I' m too humiliated by Model 722' s post. He has
simply done too much harm by asking. I mean he is a brother Adirondacker! The best I can hope for is that he is from the Tug Hill region or that he recently moved to Adack.

RE: Seen any Bigfoot?

Hey, no harm done 722. I get a little touchy when I see how much press Nessy and Big Foot get and Champ remains a virtual unknown. Do you realize there have been numerous sightings of Champ on Lake Champlain going back to 1819. In 1983 the NY state legislature passed a resolution protecting Champ.
Now some people have dismissed the existance of Champ as just folklore. As
for me, I sure would' nt doubt the wisdom and knowledge of the New York State legislature. Would you?

RE: Seen any Bigfoot?

My buddy hooked into Champ once while trolling for Lakers. We were down about 40 feet in 100 feet of water. He just shook his head and wouldn' t give an inch. Lost him after about 5 min. sure would have loved to seen what or how big it was.Would have taken the Fishing Classic that Day.
