Where are all the New Yorkers?

Hey guys

Where are all the New York hunters at? All I see are NJ and PA being represented. Lets show some face and post on here. Lets talk about our great seasons, and hunting opportunities this state has too offer also.

Catskill, I'm here! Work schedule's been too hectic to frequent the list for the last two weeks, but I'm around.

I had a good season this year, despite losing a nice eight-point during archery season. I tracked that thing for seven hours and finally lost him in a stream. I'm guessing that since he was still on the move after all that that I didn't get a fatal hit on him.

But, took a nice doe at 7:30am on opening morning, and a fat six-point about the same time two days later. Got a spike down in PA, and my son took a doe--also in PA. So the freezer is well stocked.

cogito, ergo armatus sum.

I don't think that there are that many of us on the forum. About a month and a half ago I got no replies to a thread about any successful adirondack black bear hunters out there. I would like to second CharlieP's bust on the whiners to the South.

I don't say to much on this forum as if you post somebody gets the topic over to PA.
As if they don't have enough posts.

Hunting is nature.
It is our nature to hunt.
I'm not a hunting fanatic just a hunting addict.

I did not have a very productive season. Shot a doe during bow season, only to lose her trail in my swamp. Found her during gun season, when the ground was firm enough to enter the swamp.

Saw nothing, nadda, nilche, zero during gun season. Not many shots fired around my neck of the woods.
