RE: new doe hunting zones in Pa
It would make life a lot easier for me where I hunt is right on the border of Center and Clearfield counties. Which would open up a lot more land for antlerless hunting.

RE: new doe hunting zones in Pa
that' s the way its been in NY for quite some time
its a very good way to help conrol the deer populations (u can adjust harvests according to populations in a certain area) with counties, you may have a large portion that is private land and another portion that is public and the harvets should be different they actually changed our areas a few years ago to help adjust some areas that had disimilar populatins it would stink if the areas split up your hunting areas, but its for a greater good hopefuly they will make the areas based on populations and get it right he first time good luck |
RE: new doe hunting zones in Pa
It doesn' t affect me too much. The 2 co.' s I hunt are in differant WMA' s but they' re not divided up like so many others.

RE: new doe hunting zones in Pa
I agree w/ NJBowman. I have hunted in NJ for the last 3 years now and even in that short time I can see improvement in the areas I hunt.

RE: new doe hunting zones in Pa
I am a little " torn" as well...no pun intended. There will be two separate management units for the areas that I hunt and they are only a mile or two apart.....
