RE: COUGARS ARE HERE
Dunno if that worse case scenario would happen, at least it hasnt been the case in Iowa where cougar sightings are now fairly common. In fact, the last i heard, they did not want to protect them too much because they wanted people to retain the right to kill them in defense of people or property.

RE: COUGARS ARE HERE
Will cougers attack and kill people or are they shy animals?

RE: COUGARS ARE HERE
Cougars are normally a reclusive cat for the most part, but people are killed nearly every year by cougar attacks, primarily in the Western US. They are dfinitely an animal to be respected and treated with the uptmost caution.

RE: COUGARS ARE HERE
Just received this, don't know if it's real or not.
Sent: Wednesday, June 04, 2008 11:47 AMSubject: Mountain lion killed east of Altoona PA This was hit by a truck on Mill Creek Road. This is a BIG cat! A friend sent this to me. The mountain lion was killed east of Altoona and south of State College , Pa. northeast of Raystown Lake between Mt. Union and Huntingdon , Pa. .. One doesn't think about big cats being in this eastern part of the country. Game commissions have denied it for a long time. ![]() ![]() |
