Default Marylanders out this shotgun weekend?

How many are planning to go out for one last hoorah?

I'll be out there in my tree in a bottom waiting for a doe to run by.

I'll probably be out with the Bowtech seeing as I am taking a buddy out who will be using his muzzleloader. I'm more focused on getting him his first ever deer than I am at bagging one for myself. Now if one comes within bow range.. ITS ON!

If I'm out it'll be with the bow and with DaveH but I dought I'll be out there as it's too far to travel for a morning hunt only as we have to watch those Redskins Saturday afternoon.

Nope. I'm a pansy! Been goose hunting a lot and don't feel up to the hassle of getting my stuff together and making the run.

This is exactly why I am hunting the morning and NOT in the afternoon. Lets go Skins!

My buddy wasn't able to squeeze off a shot at two does he saw this morning, so they were able to make it to me about 100 yards away. Needless to say I decided to take the smoke pole out and landed me a nice big mature doe on this beautiful morning.

Why giving up Sax? You still have the rest of the month to bow hunt. They are calling for the 60's Mon and Tues which would make drawing a bow in January MUCH easier.

Hunted with shotgun in the morning and did not see any deer. My brother got two, a good doe and a bb. In the afternoon I took the bow out to the WSSC where I had seen deer earlier in the weekbut saw nothing. Still a good day to be in the woods.
