i read in the recent issue of northeast big bucks that some checkin stations were reporting numbers being down but i have heard of some good results from people near where i hunted.

i got myself my first deer (button buck 11/30/07) and he was tasty and got myself a little trophy

Those are some real nice deer guys!!! Like you say some say it was a slow year some had the best season of their lives depends who you ask, it dosn't seem to matter which zone you were in as agin some were lucky others were not. Western Ma Hunter I somehow missed those photos you posted before great year. Did you ever get a chance to check out my property in Fla. Ma. I havn't hunted there in years we used to get some nice deer there.

Post your pics here, I'd like to see them. I hunt in Richmond too. Not too many deer in the Pittsfield\Richmond area IMO. They slaughter everything there. I like the big woods better. The state issues the tags so the hunters get what they can get, nothing wrong with that I guess.
Hunted Richmond for three years. We had better luck there than many parts of the Berks.

My 2007 buck from zone 1.

Do you guys have pics of any of your past MA bucks? If so, let's see them. Here's some other pics of MA deer I have taken over the past several years. These are the only pics I have on the computer. Sorry for the list of pics... not all trophies, but are in our opinions. I wish I had the rest of the pics to post!

I took this 8 point w/ the muzzleloader in 2003. This is my largest buck to date. I actually missed him w/ the bow earlier in the season. I took him 12/23.

I took this smaller 8 w/ the bow last season in October.

Nice 4 point taken w/ Shotgun in 2004. Shot him at 13 yards! Not the best pic.

Either worlds largest button buck or smallest spike horn taken with the bow in 2005. He dressed out 105lb.

This is my buddy's big 8 taken in Blandford with the smokepolein 2005 last day of season. We found it half eaten by coyotes the next day. Got the mount though.
