He weighed 185lbs dressed, at the Hubbard Ave check in. He may have weighed more in Nov, he looked a little rutted.

Thanks WMH, how did you make out this year? Where do you hunt? Public, private? It's quite a challenge hunting in Savoy.

Nice bucks Planter. Hunting near the coast must be fun. I'd probably dig clams between hunts.

Spysar. I hunt a bit of both. Most of my bow hunting is done on small tracts of private land, but some public. Lenox/Pittsfield line, Lee, Richmond.

For gun hunting we do alot of hunting in Beartown State Forest and in Lanesboro (Mt Greylock). Lots of state land and big chunks of land... like Savoy and October Mtn.

I took a couple of does w/ the bow, 6 point w/ the bow, & a 3 point w/ the shotgun.
I have some pics on some of the MA posts on this thread.

Post your pics here, I'd like to see them. I hunt in Richmond too. Not too many deer in the Pittsfield\Richmond area IMO. They slaughter everything there. I like the big woods better. The state issues the tags so the hunters get what they can get, nothing wrong with that I guess.
