This is actually a very old deer. I have the jaw to prove it. He was taken in the big woods, no crops anywhere nearby. Genes are OK here. He probably lacked nutrition if anything.

MA was great for me this season... Couple ofdoes on top of these two bucks and a freezer full of meat. All of these within 20 miles of boston and five from the coast.
I'm sure I'm gonna be waiting along time for another season like this.. Lots to be said for being laid off a couple of months during hunting season..
