That vandalism has teenagers written all over it. As for the game cameras, I have heard of people getting stickers made that says something in the lines of:
This camera is the property of (your state) Conservation Office. It is being used to study wildlife numbers. Each camera is fitted with an internal GPS tracking device and if removed from this location will be located and that individual removing it will be prosecuted to the fullest from the state.
