I will be hunting with my father in the Southern tier. I will be stalking. If Dad does not get a buckwithhis bow this week then it should be a short morning :D
Then I will come back to the Finger lakes region and hunt a wood patch somewhere.

Probably my CVA Kodiak, but we will see. If not, it will be the Mossberg. Same spot as always. A funnel between the property on the east and the property on the south that goes right through our property.

Hunting here in Honeoye. I will be sitting on the outskirts of some state land...right near a corn field waiting for all the dumb hunters who come in late to push all the deer directly toward me. I will be either sitting on a spot well call "the ol' log" because its a huge log that we sit on in full camo...or will be in a climber. I will be using my trusty ol' Remington 870 Express Magnun 12 Gauge with a Bushnell scope with some Butler Creek optic fitters. Should be an interesting morning.

Also Yates county has instated rifles being used there. Thinking about going to some state land over there and using my Remington .308 with a Simmons scope. We will see what happens.

30-30 in the stand and if I end up doing a walk and stalk I will use my 12 gauge. First year in the southern tier for riffles, lets hope everyone is smart while hunting with them

remington model 7400 in 30-06 cal.hunting from dual season magnum ladder stand.been seeing alot of does and a few small bucks during bow season.one decent 8 pt. just out of bow range but the playing field is level with the rifle!! hope to see him again.
