MD youth hunt, anyone's kid score?
 

My neighbor took his 13 year old son out, last year he got his first deer, a small doe, this year he scored big time. Not bad for his first buck!!!!!

Sorry for the bad hanging up shots, I wasn't hunting with them yesterday and only got to grab these shots when I came home this morning before they skinned him out.

Well good news, My youngest son cody (age 14) got his 1stbuck. 7:38 am a nice deer came in and he shot, the deer took off and i went to see if he hit it. yep, found the blood trail. Followed that trail for over 3 hours and well over a mile. But we got it. a nice little 7 point buck. Took nearly another 2 hours dragging it back to our hunting spot. Up very steep hills, man i am tired. Forgot to mention, he shot it in the neck and it still ran well over a mile.

My son, Kyle, got his second deer ever. We'll be eating good for a while. Congrats to all the youth hunters out there.

My 11 year old son got his first deer. It was also a small doe. I know the other fathers probably felt as proud as I did. This is good to see. I hope many more young people continue this fine hunting tradition we have.

well we didnt score, but we saw 7 deer and 2 werenice bucks.plus got to spend some time alone. It was a great hunt. cant wait til the opener on the 24th..
