I think it is pretty much the peak of the rut right now from what I have seen. I am in 8N and i have seen a lot of bucks chasing does. Seems to be a lot of yearling bucks this year and few mature bucks in my area.

Go spotlighting and check out the action. I have been seeing alot of bucks chasing this past week. They are definitely getting "goofy" here. The time to get in the woods is now!

Yeah I have seen a lot of chasing whne spotlighting as well. But there sure seems to be a lot of yearling bucks in this area. But they are chasing. These next few days should be prime.
