Maine- Hows your season going
 

What a crappy first day. A.Nielsen and I dindt see any thing. We were trying to catch them in their beds but all I caught so far was a nasty cold. I got this fri off and then every thurs and fri after till the end of the season. I have my any deer permit but Im aimimg for a buck where I have more time off this year. Looking for the 200# plus with the 160 inch or greater antlers ;). I guess we all probably are. Any ways ifI dont bust oneduring rifle seasonI will knock down a doe in ML season to fill the freezer. Jkfirefighter got a nice 8 point but I have seenany Pics posted YET JK LOL. Good luck to ya all.

I haven't been able to get out yet, I have been busy with work and meetings but hope to try it Saturday. I like hunting next to a swamp where I might be able to catch them coming in and out of the hardwoods.

Nice buck and congrats!!! Hey it looks real wet out there was that the Friday of the opener? My season has been going slow I had surgery about 3 weeks ago and been taking it easy I am leaving for camp next week for a week and a half so I dont want to be warn out on day 2. good luck all.
