WNY - dead buck

its not mine.. and its a shame.. but saw a dead buck in a feild the other day. big 6 or 8 pointer. laying on his side in a huge feild in leroy, ny.. right off of RT19 between RT5 and the 490. not sure if he was hit by a car or a bow.. he was laying in an odd position.. facing west, (away from the road , facing towards the treeline) and maybe 100 yrds away from the road. defenatly odd..

pretty buck.. turkey vultures were getting at him on sunday.

He was probably shot by a poacher. The poacher got spooked then ran.

I had a buck killed in the field below my house. The shot the buck, cut his head off and left the rest.[:@]
