NJ BUCK Permit Tag

ok,,do i have to purchase the buck tag even if i havent shot a buck
with my original license tag?? i am getting my permit monday..i guess frm
a walmrt or dcks??

thanks guys...another $56..i might get a permit for 45 mt laurel

The extended bow permit is an anterless permit only. IF you only want to harvest anterless deer, then you do not need to purchase a buck stub. If you want to take a buck, you must purchase both the zone permit and the buck stub. They must be purchased at the same time.

Important:

Bonus Buck Permits. Permits may be purchased

only during specific timeframes.

Antlered Buck Bonus Permits must be purchased

before midnight on the first day of

each permit season as follows:

• Antlered Buck Bonus Permits for the Permit

Bow Season

must be purchased by October

at 11:59 p.m.

• Antlered Buck Bonus Permits for the Permit

Muzzleloader Season

must be purchased by

November 26

at 11:59 p.m.

• Antlered Buck Bonus Permits for the Permit

Shotgun Season

must be purchased by

December 12

at 11:59 p.m.

• For hunters who do not purchase any deer

permit until after the season opens, an

Antlered Buck Bonus Permit

may be purchased

only
with

the initial regular antlerless

zone-specific permit. There will be no

other chance to purchase an Antlered Buck

Bonus Permit after your initial permit purchase

for a given permit hunting season.

• The electronic licensing system allows no

exceptions.
