first bow deer!!
my buddy got this one last night.i got the call on the way out to the truck.he says i hit one you won't believe it he came in behind me and started to make a scrape.he then takes the shot and as his arrow passes perfectly right under the deer and into the ground,he says oh poop!!he grabs another arrow as the deer just continuse to make his scrape he raises up the pin a little more and wack he says i watch the hit right where i was aiming.time was 6:15 so we let it go until 9:00 and take up the trail.we find the one clean arrow findblood about 5 feet away.we went about 70 yards and there he lay tipping over in his tracks!double lung, he was happier than POOP!! i noticed the neck was a little swollen up and his rear hocks stunk preatty good. now its my turn to stick something!

Congrats on a very nice bow kill. Pay no attention to the "let em grow" type statements. If you decide to shoot a legal doe or young buck go for it. Everybody needs to make their own choices. I'll bet he will be great eating! Can almost smell those tenderloins sizzlin' now. Good luck for the rest of the season.
