PA archery season sports ticker
How are all you guys doing this year? My season got off to a slow start with the combination of the unseasonably warm temps and a back injury, that effectively made my season begin the third Saturday of the season this year. It was a nice morning, saw a doe and two fawns at 4 yards from my stand. My brother saw 4 does/fawns, my Dad saw three fawns and a nice buck that winded him. It was still too dark for him to tell how good a rack the buck had, but thinks it was decent. The wind picked up and we saw nothing the rest of the day. Post your comments and experiences here, PA brothers.
While going for a little walk to loosen up my back at midday, I saw two scrapes and three rubs. Looks like the bucks are getting a little interested.
Good luck this year!

I've had a weird season so far. I've killed 2 does(one in the early SRA) so far, but I've had much better sightings in that heat than the cooler weather. I'm not sure what's going on.

Been a slow season. Passed a basket rack nine point at 8 yards the first day and zipped a Muzzy through a doe on Saturday to break the ice but it's been SLOOOOOWWWW!!!!

Only out twice. First day in the 80's and saw nothing. Yesterday, even with the smoke pole guys around I had a nice group of deer come down a different run behind me. Saw some white antlers in the group and heard a buck fight going on. Things are starting to heat up.

I haven't been out as much as I wanted to but more than last year. I am taking a day off later this week to hit the woods and then a few evenings as well. I had my best day in a long time this past Saturday. Ten deer and seven longbeards in a three hour time frame. Only one small buck though.
