Got this in an email from my brother, said they found this buck dead in Washington County either from CWD or EHD, they werent sure yet

A real shame because the buck doesnt look old at all

It look weird because the way the gu has to hold due to rigormortis setting in since it died, its a real picture

may be a real picture, but I was told it was found in Greene Near Orndorffs horse farm.

I also got an email saying it was found in Fayette county

Here is an artilce that was run earlier this week concerning deer found dead inSouthwesterbPA counties. Not sure if this is relatedto the one in the picture.

I HATE INTERNET RUMORS.

That buck was a roadkill down in that area. The original picture was in the bowhunting forum by a friend of the guy that picked it up.

Geesh, internet rumors suck.

As soon as I saw the pic my first thoughts were: "Geez, deer that die from EHD don't generally look that healthy, rumor is probably false."

Well I don't know anything about INTERNET RUMORS but my wife said, while she was at the hairdresser, the woman cutting her hair showed her this same picture. She said her cousin received the picture from a friend. She said it was the first confirmed deer killed by a mountain lion in PA. The damage was all done to the back end, that's why it isn't visible in the picture. Later someone found said mountain lion, shot it and the lion had a tatoo that read : Property of the PA GAME COMMISSION. Now that is what my wife's hairdresser said.:)

Anyways, shame for a very nice deer.

What!!??? No eartag on the mountain lion from Nationwide or Allstate insurance??? Must have fallen off. Thank God for the tatoo.............
