RE: Vanilla Extract :)
ORIGINAL: kingnn93 is it better to dilute the vanilla extract with water (50/50) or just to put it in the scent bomb the way it is with out adding water?? |

RE: Vanilla Extract :)
been thinking about this more.
by diluting it, you're making it smell less, making the deer come closer to get a good whiff. but you're also shortening the range that they can smell it. i would dilute it for bow, but maybe not for gun, where you can shoot a further distance. i dunno if it would spook deer full strength tho. ![]() |

RE: Vanilla Extract :)
a Scent Bomb is a product made by Tinks. its basically an orange plastic bottle (small, like a small vitamin bottle) with a lid and an unscented wick inside. you put scent on the wick, whether it be vanilla extract or urine, pull up the wick and use it to attract deer. then, at the end of the day, push the wick back inside and close it up to bring it home wit u. you can normally get them at any sporting goods store or walmart. they're pretty popular. |
