i live in baltimore too. i mean i know its alleghany and garret, i just dont know where lol. good luck. i wonder how many people applied for a permit and how many actually got one. i would think ur pretty lucky to get 1. good luck

There were 220people picked , you have to go to a manditory meeting
then the permit is issued. This year you can have 3 people on one permit. Only one bear can be taken. Permitee , subpermitee and land owner permitee.I think I have found the best place Savage State Forest.

Not every permit can be used on Public land. The majority of permits are private land only, and a few are for both. Check which permit you drew before you hit Savage State forrest.

You maryland boys wanna bear Ill swap ya a hunt in md for one here in wva Im from PG county but moved here when i was 15 my mom and dad still live in md shady side good luck to ya

Since I really do not have access to private land in Western MD why put in for it.

Hi guys, I stop in from time to time.

Blazerman if your permit is for private property contact DNR and ask tobe hooked up with one of the farmers who's been having bear problems.You should be given a list of several names.
