I reported mine with no problem either....alot of different keys and crap to hit, but was pretty smooth.

I hope they post when the first official entry using the DCALS system was. I reported my spike @ 6:40am on opening morning. I may have been the first!

Catskill, I hope you mean 7:40am, if you shot and reported your deer by 6:40 you were a little early.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> Actually you would have been shooting reeeaaaaaallllyyyy early.

Not really...

I was out of the woods by 7:15am after gutting and dragging him out. Legal Shooting is sunrise to sundown. I had enough light to see him CLEARLY, and sunrise was 6:30ish that day...so I was definately legal...LOL

What did you do report it with a cell phone from the woods???

Your right legal sunrise to legal sunset and here are the times for opening day of the southern zone.

Begin civil twilight 6:21 a.m.
Sunrise 6:51 a.m.
Sun transit 11:41 a.m.
Sunset 4:31 p.m.
End civil twilight 5:01 p.m.

Are the catskills in the southern zone? We might be talking about 2 different days.

i got 2 deer this year and reported both of them and after the second one they said i still had 4 outstanding reports when it should of only been three i heard there were a few gliches in the system lets just hope by next year it is resolved

Took 3 this year, no problems reporting.

Took 3 deer and had no problems. Didn't hear of any problems from any of the neighbors/friends.
