RE: Western N.Y.
I hunt in Gainsville which is in Wyoming Co. The farmers there are saying there are a lot of bucks but their antlers appear to be smaller than normal because of the dry spring. Who knows....I'm ready!

I was talking to a farmer in Wheatfield the other day. He thinks we have have a great year because of the light winter. I can't belive we still have 2 months to go!

RE: Western N.Y.
We went to camp in Gainesville yesterday. Although we didn't see deer there were plenty of good signs. We were a little noisy because we had 2 10 year old boys with us. They sure make a lot of noise for being so small!Anyways, traditional travelroutes are worn and the bedding areas were still being used. I was going to move my "Batcave" tree stand, but then I changed my mind. I left it where it has beenbecauseI've gotten deer from it the last two years, so why move it.
