Matt and Ron, granted, if it was a 100% true story I would have taken the deer as well. I just wanted to write a semi-fictional piece for my father that illustrated how I appreciated everything he taught me. Everything in the entire story is actually true except for the big buck that walked by my stand. I have taken deer from atop that old antenna but none like the buck in the story. I'm glad you both enjoyed it and thanks for the compliments.
