Does only ,whats up with that? Why would Pa. have such a restricted bow season.

The areas w/ extended seasons need doe management. That's why the PGC did it, overpopulation problems.

i won't be hunting it....sounds like BS too me....and i'm in 5C....they keep changing laws....we're as in archers here in Pa are getting tired of them passing stupid regulations like that one....we won't hunt does only in that season....we're sit home...!!!

It does get tiresome that the PGC keeps changing their mind, but bowhunters in these regions only go after bucks and there aren't enough areas that can be gun hunted to effectively reduce the doe population. This allows bowhunters to get out a little earlier and thin the doe herd to get the buck-to-doe ratio in check.

I personally like it, but to each his/her own.
