Write a thank you letter to Fish and Game. Unlimited does with a long season take their toll. I've seen my area(zone 11) hit hard by this. The herds of 30-40 deer are gone. Lucky to see 3 or 4!

JERSEYJOE IS RIGHT!!!!! WE ALL SHOULD WRITE A LONG THANK YOU NOTE TO THE WONDERFUL, EDUCATED, FISH, GAME, & WILDLIFE PEOPLE. THE ONLY THING THEY CAN MANAGE GOOD IS THERE WALLETS, ALL THEY WANT IS "$$$$$$".

NEW JERSEY HUNTERS YOU WILL SEE OUR HUNTING LICENSE GET MORE EXPENSIVE, CAUSE THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS "NJFG" ARE BUNCH OF GREEDY PEOPLE. I USE TO SEE 23 PLUS DEER PER DAY IN ZONE 4, NOW IM LUCKY IF I EVEN SEE A DEER. "NJFG" WILL GET PRESSURED FROM THE HUNTERS, THEY WILL SCAMBLE TO FIND A WAY TO CURE THE PROBLEM, AND THE ONLY WAY IN THERE EYES IS TO RAISE THE PRICE OF THE HUNTING LICENSES.

I THINK YEARS AGO THEY WERE DOIN A FANTASTIC JOB, AND I EVEN WOULD ADMITT THAT THERE WERE TO MANY DEER IN CERTAIN AREAS, BUT COME ON THIS ANTLERLESS, UNLIMITED, EXTENDED SEASON WENT WAY TOO FAR!!!! HOW LONG CAN IT LAST TILL THERE IS NOTHIN LEFT?

I was looking forward to hunting this year, being it's been a very long time, since I've seen snow on the ground during six day firearm. Needless to say I was VERY disappointed with the amount of deer I came across. Only had the chance to see 4 doe, 2 rabbits and one squirrel....(zone 21)

Something needs to be done!!!!

How open is the Council to listening and acting on sound ideas offered by the hunting public? I would be interested in actively participating in the process, meetings, etc. if there was a reasonable chance that they are open minded to real improvements. Or are they an organization that simply creates their own chaos to control?

Thanks,

in zone 3 where i am and also zone 6 which is across the highway its not unlimited does. only 2 does or 1 buck 1 doe. but i'm still not seeing deer. i don't know, maybe they are turning nocturnal cause there is a bunch of deer sign around...just no deer sightings. i actually saw a big buck this past sunday morning but he was going from a neighborhood to a golf course, 2 places you can't hunt. anyway i don't know whats going on but i'm getting tired of sitting all day and watching squirrels.

Zone 2 used to be big buck country but the herd is now totally unbalanced and the bucks left are all scrubbers. The Jan hunting has taken a toll and the locals put on drives every Sat in Jan and clean house. Oh--the local farmers also take their share during the summer.

I have emailed Paul Tarlowe twice and he seems receptive but nothing will change unless everyone stops buying licenses. For the amount of $$ that we pay, we deserve a hell of a lot better.
