I believe crows are in, also. One thing to remember, though, if you're headed up this weekend, the youth season is Saturday.

steve...do you have any idea of how to hunt any of these? I always hear these off the wall game animals, but never know how to go about hunting them. Do they need scouting like turkeys + deer? lol? and whats a whistlepig? thanks alot buddy

They are all just local names for the groundhog. Usually hunted in fields w rimfire or centerfire rifles, depending on your location. I have hunted them w my shotgun, muzzleloader and pistol at times. They are fun to hunt, have no closed season, no bag limits and most farmers encourage you to shoot them. I have gotten permission to hunt deer on more than one farm by hunting groundhogs in the summer. Good luck and be safe.

Mostly in Frederick County. Sometimes in Washington or Montgomery Co. Seldom anywhere else.

Coyote are always in season also, though they are not thick here in this state, but they are technically regarded as being in all counties.
