It finally happened in NJ!
 

Looks like New Jersey has its first case of a coyote attacking a 2 year old toddler. It was only a matter of time since they are spreading like wild fire into rural areas.I have said to my dopey city slickerneighbors for the last 2 years or so not to leave thier dogs in the back yard unattended becauseI have been seeing andhearing them in the area.I told my one neighbor Isaw one up the street eating a dear carcasson the side ofthe road and he looked at me and said NAH! you must be seeing things?Maybe if they would take the time toget off the couch long enough and pry the remote out of there hands they would know what goes on outside there four walls.Next it will be a bear that attacks a kid and only then they will decide to go through with the bear hunt. These morons just don't understand that thelittle bit of land in NJcan't support alot of these animals in high numbers and they need to be hunted.

It's sad that it will take an incident like this to open the LIBERAL eyes of NJ tree huggers and gun control nuts.

you could always get a silencer and infared scope and do some covert hunting.

That's what I'm asking too... Coyotes running amok in NJ, and you can't hunt them?!?!

Sheesh..... Down here in Virginia, heck man, we not only have open season, but a few counties even have a $50 BOUNTY on them!!!!!! :D

in NY you can hunt them Oct 1st to March 31st w/no bag limits.

the way NJ is going, you're gonna have lions, tigers, and bears running all over the place.

headhunter, if your neighbor doesn't believe u have coyotes still, remind of the one that got into central park.

No lions, they forched the lion lady out. NJ, what can I say except I'm glad my temporary stay of 9 years there ended Sept 2005. Your lucky to have any kind of hunting season at all. If I saw one in the wild and had a weapon with me he'd be one dead yote. Did they kill the bear season again? They had one in 2004 I beleive but that gay governor killed the next one didn't he?

we have a crappy $$$ stupid typical jersey like season set up/ .you get to hunt them during some seasons and then magically from the middle of january to feb (the best months) you need to buy a freeking permit$$$$ . AFTER THIS INCIDENT im sure the state will see a surge in hunters wanting to hunt them so im sure they will raise the fees. its only fair[:'(]

Liquid, you are so right on that one! Its all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in Jersey. Permit this, permit that and the Fish and wildlife still runs in the red year after year! I think I am gonna run for a seat on the F&W council. Oh but wait you have to know someone and be picked by the council themselves. It should be a voting process from the sportmen of this state.
