what about the "airport buck" shot in bell township, jefferson county?do you remember the controversy about it? he turned it in to the pgc for record scoring and they lost his application.

If I can remember correctly, the hunters name who shot the "airport buck" was Jim Rowles.. I believe it was scored at around 200"-205". I don't know anything about the controversy, but I have seen to replica mounts and it is a very impressive buck... there use to be pics of it all over the net but I can't find any now.

Too bad an Illinois buck of 6.5 years would score 250" non-typical. We need to do more. Nutrition is what our bucks need. Here's a couple of typicals from our area in PA. One needs tine length and the other needs mass. Neither have both:...................

Those are some great bucks. It will be cool to see these displayed at the show! It is cool to look at large antlers and mounts, but it is a whole lot cooler to check them out when you know they were shot locally! What else is going on at the show?
