RE: deer on my property!
you saw him last season!!!
maybe someone shot him.got hit by a car or killed by a predator.
or maybe just moved out of the area.
deer will move from area to area and not just stay in 1 place.he may be anywhere now.

On a side note, maybe a big buck was there and you never saw him, and he is still there. That's what hunting is all about. Seeing a bruiser you never knew was there. Happens all the time.
Good luck and have fun.

Mature does will usually deliver two fawns.
Yearling does deliver 1 fawn usually.
If both fawns were does, you may have 7 deer on your property this season.
All those does may attract more bucks during the rut.
Usually buck fawns go off( disperse) by the following year, but not always.
If there was one buck fawn and one doe fawn you may have 6 deer with possibly an additional buck.
If both fawns were bucks????
Getting pumped yet?
