RE: Mountain Lion Pics
Ok all you Sherlock Holmes types. I never cut and pasted anything that is exactly how it came in an email to me. I never claimed it was Pa either. You guys are something else. I thought they were cool pics. Sorry I never seen them before, I can't read every post on this site.

RE: Mountain Lion Pics
I can't take credit, (or discredit), for the C&P -- too technical for me.
Tryk, the point is that you should "know" if what you are claiming is fact or fiction. Obviously my post was mocking the trend of people latching unto something and saying it is factual or evidence of something when it is not. Your statements are simply -- false! they are from Wisconsin where they claim Mountain Lions don't exist either. These pictures were taken by a guy from the Tomahawk area in northern Wisconsin from his kitchen looking out onto his patio deck afterhe discovered the mountain lion watching his children playing on the kitchen floor. |
RE: Mountain Lion Pics
OK if you all want to think I posted these for some proof of something....whatever...... I should have stated that the email said the following.
These pictures were taken by a guy from the Tomahawk area in northern Wisconsin from his kitchen looking out onto his patio deck afterhe discovered the mountain lion watching his children playing on the kitchen floor Do I beleive there are possibly Mountain Lions in places people say they aren't? Yes! Do I beleive there are breeding pairs in the East? I Don't Know. |
RE: Mountain Lion Pics
Tryk, nothing personal but "yes" instead of saying, "they are" you might have said, "someone claims." No matter, it has become so much of a joke to see credible research diminished by the constant re-appearance of the same old tired photos --- with "new" locations.
"If" wild populations do exist that is something that requires serious study and monitoring but the false claims and unsubstantiated sightings really challenge and serious endeavor. The "idiots" and "childish people" are at the root of sending this garbageout.... |
RE: Mountain Lion Pics
