Is this show any good? I heard about it on the radio this morning and was thinking about going. The last show I went to was at Mountaineer Racetrack and I was very dissapointed.

It's a pretty good show. Some years have been better than others but its worth an afternoon.

I'llbe going this Thurs. I believe. I missed the Harrisburg show so I'll spend the evening there. Its only a 30 minute drive for me, so I usually go every year. IMO this show has gone downhill the last several years. Seems most outfitters hit Harrisburg and skip this one. It still offers a decent amount of hunting booths, but seems overrun with fishing vendors and fishing destinations. Again just one man's opinion.

Well, the show's over and while it was good, it wasnt as good as in the past. Window salesmen just don't belong in an outdoor show but there were also some empty spaces.

Bought a neat little digital video camera that's the size of a cigarette pack for a very reasonable price. It's small enough to velcro right to the side of the bow and takes 5 hours of vdeo on a 1 gig SD card at hi resolution. Cant wait to take it hunting!

Got to meet Rybohunter. he's asgood a guy in person as he is on here!
Alsoran into some other old friends and I know the weather kept some folks from coming from farther out. Too bad it's not this week instead. the weather is supposed to get much nicer.

I know...I didn't make it.
I went to the George Strait concert at mellon arena at the last minute and spent a bundle on tickets. I'm short this month to begin with from buying all my taxidermy stuff. Nobody wanted to go to the Sport show with me, so I passed and saved a few bucks I know I would have spent there.
I'll catch you another time, Bob.

Hey Bob do you have a webiste addy for that camera you just bought? I've been looking for a small camera that I don't have to hold to film some hunts.
