Cool pic, thanks for posting it, suprised a bobcat would try to take down a deer that size.

There is a sequence of three pictures if you go look at the camera website. Why wouldn't a large bobby take a deer? There was one seen doing it in PA recently. The guy watching assumed it was a cougar due to the size of the buck. But tracks and the tooth mark spacing were Bobcat.

kinda blows holes all thru the "it had puncture marks on it's NECK it HAD to be a cougar" arguments you hear, hmmmm?

I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it myself. Too much risk for a BOB if you ask me. Now coyotes in a group is differant. Ballsy Cats!

thats awesome. and you dont know. the deer might have been injured, thus why the bobcat would risk it. either way, that pic is awesome.
