ORIGINAL: BTBowhunter Preliminary approval passed today!! ![]() it just seems to me that PGC is opening up a steady stream of lawsuits.first person that is shot, according to my lawyer which i talked to today, the family will be able to sue because this is unsafe thing to do.. some said, WELL, SPROUL, WE HAVE BEEN HUNTING TO DARK ANYHOW,BIG DEAL..WELL, IT WAS ILLEGAL TO DO IT AND IF SOMETHING HAPPENED THE PGC WAS IN CLEAR BECASUE THE SHOOTER BRO THE LAW. now, its going to be LEGAL ..SAFETY FIRST,i guess that went out the window along with deer overharvest .. |
RE: PA Hunting hours what is the PGC staff thinking?
Lucky for you.The Legislature passed a law this year that allows archers the ability to carry a conceiled weapon as long as you have a conceiled weapons permit. That law takes effect on 1-26-07.
Why was it good sense to have hunting hours start 1/2 hour before sunrise but it's a bad idea to allow hunting hours to continue 1/2 hour past sunset? |

If I shoot a deer and it runs out of sight,I generally don't even consider picking up the trail for at least 45 minutes. In most cases,it's already pitch black by the time I crawl out of my tree and recover the deer anyway.I like looking for them after dark.
