good luck to all you guys going to hunt PA this year...remember if the ARs apply count them points! they dont apply to me..hopefully i can get my first buck...but im not waiting for one because i have doe tags and dont think antlers are important yet but would be nice...i will be in venengo county...where are you heading monday morning??

Good luck to you,Mauser!I'll be hunting at my cabin in Somerset Co.I saw alot of legal deer out there during archery-just couldn't get a shot-so I'm hoping things will be differant next week.Hunt safe,shoot straight and count them points!

Good luck to you too! I am anticipating like a child for an amusement park!
Last year I missed a 6 point at 2 minutes after first light on opening day. I didn't shoot at a doe for the first two days in hopes of getting a buck first. That was a mistake. For the rest of the season I never even had a chance to shoot at either sex. I have to get a buck now cause I got my doe during archery. My husband doesn't do archery so he needs to get both. We are in Armstrong County so we need 4 points or better on one side.....

After seeing a couple of nicer racked bucks here in Huntingdon county, I am totally ready for gun season :-)
