Down time after the Hunting Season

What do you all do during your off season Down time?

I took to the trap line being that prices are up now - I have a coule fox and coon - no yotes yet and I haven't put out any water sets yet - I've been waiting for a little snow to push the critters to the creeks and ponds but if we don't get some snow soon I'll probably put some sets out anyways.

Caught a 24lbs coon Christmas Eve - meassured 39 inches from nose to tip of tail after being skinned - Probably the biggest coon I've seen.

Well after the second season of grouse it's time to get out the turkey calls and start playin.I like to get up to the cabin and do some work and after season scouting for deer and before season scouting for turkey.

Ice fish, scout, shoot trap, low bid on gun broker, chase the old lady and yell at the kids.

Most importantly plan next years hunts including Caribou.

After deer 12/31 I hunt predators[:@]. Have to thin out them yotes' so they don't get as many fawns so I have more deer to fling arrows at. Crows are always a nice day out in the woods or canoe. And as PAWildman says, the pounds do come on now that I have stopped hunting deer and pheasant.
Then work my dogs on pigeons and train my new pups. Hatch and rasie quail for my dogs and the yard, maybe some Ornamental pheasants again.
