You mentioned Hopkins, he is a personal friend of mine, Eric is o.k. guy lives about 6 miles from me, but he might be moving to Montana, dont know for sure...as you probably already know his son Jeff is one of the 3 top archers in the country, he has some beautiful mounts in his practice barn and he tells me all of them were taken within 12 miles of his dad's house...so the deer hunting is good in his part of the world....

Deer are plentiful on private lands where there is less pressure. It is just a fact. There are deer on public lands but they are a lot wiser and harder to get. I haven't seen many deer since shotgun season myself. They are there just probably more nocturnal. If you get some guys out and moving they'll start to move.

Lefty Not many deer in Maryland well you don't get around much , My buddy averages 15 deer a year . Harford County. Our bag limits are so high they want to get rid of Deer. Balto Co is loaded.My Co worker Dads farm I went to,on there I saw 26 deer the fist night of scouting ,it backs up to Gunpowder state park.

Yep I did'nt see the smiles. I used to hunt public land until one morning When the sun came up and the woods ended up Orange instead of Green or Brown. I just Got My own Lease this year after some long years looking.
Small piece but can support 5-6 guys.Cambridge area no sika but WhiteTails and Turkey and Ducks.
