I hear there's alot of deer down there.I live just north of that in York Co.,Pa.Someday,I'll get a Md. license and hunt it but for now,Pa. hunting takes up alot of my time.

I was able to make it down there a couple of times this year. This was my first year down there. I did not kill anything because in order to kill something you first have to see it. LOL <img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle> Any way I hope to have more time to scout it instead of going in blind with only seeing the area from a map. I have friends that have had very good luck down there. My turn will come.

From what I've been told, it's not too bad if you know where you want to be and have a pretty good idea of how it's layed out. I have to hunt on public land during turkey season so I look for private lands that I can get near exclusive rights to hunt. Crowds can work to your advantage if you know the area and it escape routes well, but mostly, crowds are going to cause more difficulty in getting a mature buck to cruise around in broad daylight.

Today's small bucks are tomorrow's trophies.
