eagle chickie, I think you're missing the point that everyone is trying to make here. Its hunting, not grocery shopping.

Whether it's grouse tails or antler mounts I enjoy saving them as a memo to past hunts.
Makes a lot of sense, especially since your successes are so few and far between!

Hey eagle chickie, I have an idea for ya. Why not build a big pen and raise your own venison? That way, you'll always get your deer.
And that would be just as sporting as shooting a bb on purpose.
Rob:Whomever made you a moderator with your bias attitude must have been really desperate to dump it on someone else.
Nope, and the fact that I'm a moderator doesn't inhibit me from making correct decisions, that's why I was asked to be one and your absolutely correct for the first time ec, I am biased about not shooting button bucks on purpose, especially 5! I've asked it before, if it's so righteous, why don't you practice that same management on your family farm? AND, like BT asked, why didn't you claim them in the contest in the Archers Choice forum? I think we know all the answer to that one, ashamed?

ashamed??? of what, where have you ever read that I'm a horn hunter. I'm a DEER HUNTER!
Also if you'd taken the time to read "the score sheet" as you call the AC forum thread you'd see why I dropped out after killing kudu, gemsbuck, zebra, and warthog with my bow and only getting 4 pts while someone sitting in a treestand in Pa killed a small 6pt and got half as many pts. That guy was in his back yard and I was 10,000 miles from mine with 4 times the animals in the salt...pretty silly contest scoreing I think!

Super, I expect that other buck of yours was getting quite lonesome after all of those years for any sort of company!
