NY - opening day 9 point.
 

My buddy got a real massive, long tined 9 point on opening day. The G2's were over 14 inches long. Too bad the inside spread was only 15 and 1/2 - but a great state land buck none the less.

Nice buck.The mass and tines surely make up for the spread.Im glad someone is having good luck.This is the worst season ive ever had in NY.

Not to hijack this post but I have a Question? With all this talk about antler spread restrictions to outside the ears etc., If it did go into effect what would happen if you shot a monster like that??? cause it doesn't look like the spread is past the outside of his ears. Not allbig bucks have wide spreads. perfect example..

Great buck... looks better w/ the narrow spread.. makes him look that much more massive....
