I just finished skinning the head out on that basket rack. He will be my first attempt at taxidermy, something I have always wanted to do and have been studying for awhile now. I told my brother to take his to an experienced taxidermist. No way in the world was I going to use his trophy as a learning experience. He didn't argue .

Yea Bob, we did better in the big woods than we did in the city 'burbs. I thought I would be wasting my time going to camp fromthe "doom and gloom"I've been hearing. One thing I've learned in all my years of hunting is that you have to adapt and change areas, strategies and methods to be successful. You can't expect to sit on the same rock and shoot a buck every year. I heard quite a lot of shooting, so there were others getting thier deer too.
