MD Junior hunt a success!
 

Saturday was awesome for my two boys(14 and 11) and myself. We went to our usual spot in Indian Springs WMA. At about 8 o'clock my older son shoots. We wait 10 minutes and walk to where the buck was standing. No blood, no hair, no sign of a hit. Darn! As we are standing there, 100 yards away in thick brush we see the 6 point dogging the does he was after when my son shot. Too thick for a shot though. We zigzag in their direction looking for any sign of a hit and find none. Apparently a clean miss. At 9:00 my younger son is ready to leave, but I convince him to stay, because, "You never know..." Well, 10 minutes later a 4 point comes sauntering up the mountain. One shot, one deer. That is the second shot he has fired at deer and he has gotten both of them. What a day!
