ORIGINAL: matt068 Actually unless going to taxidermist tag is supposed to accompanied with deer even after processing and then if going to taxidermist I believe he records all tag numbers and info and returns tag to accompany deer. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong interesting situation might be nice to know for sure! |

i am not sure of the tagging issue, but i thought the tag had to stay on the deer..attached around somthing on him...hoof...ear ..whatever. taking a pic without the tag isnt that bad. most pics taken sont show the deer tagged.

Cant you just be happy the guy killed a huge buck and stop whining about the stupid tag? Some guys would complain about winning a million dollars.

ORIGINAL: livbucks We use a really big safety pin and poke just one hole in the lower ear canal. Attach your tag andpush it up inside the ear canal and you are good to go. |

While that buck is nice, it apears to be a good old fashion stuff the buck in the camera and hold it way out in front you.:D If that deer's head is that big, I better get a bigger bow.

carry an extra back tag holder. works great! small hole!
