I hunt the SGL just north of the GAP. Travel through the GAP to get there. We have been hunting Rattling run for the past 5 years. Wowsa are there some big bucks back in there. 5 1/2 miles from parking lot. Not a lot of quantity and you never see any during the day because of ZERO pressure. Saw a bear on the first day last year, didn't have a tag. The Game Comission didn't an aeiral survey of the property and there is a lot of deer there. Mostly concentrated around the clearcut area. As soon as the clearcut happened we noticed a drastic change in deer sign from along the creek to up on the mountain around the cut.
