I hunt in all weather. But I love the snow. My dad has shot a couyple of his best rifle bucks in heavy snow storms. 1 was a 180lb 11 pt. the other was a 215lb 10 point. Both cases he was sneaking though. the 11 pt he jumped, the 10pt was on on the move already.

No such thing as a bad time to be in the woods. You just need to be wearing the proper gear. :)

Love to hunt deer in foul weather, especially rain. Fewer hunters in the woods and deer are usually holed-up in places where I expect them to be during such conditions. Have managed to thump a few bedded deer during bad weather, so I seldom miss the chance to be out in it.

I'll take that to a day spent sitting in the sunshineanytime.
