I was out on opening day in VT on Saturday. Caught two four pounders by 7:30 with nothing else for the rest of the weekend. Cold front seemed to shut'em down. Still I had a great time on the water with my father-in-law. Love to eat walleye! If you haven’t tried it yet, blacken some filets with some Cajun spices. It doesn't get much better then that!

Made a bad choice and fished a creek in canastota opening mourning. My buddy caught 1 walleye. I caught 2 bass(released them) and a 15 1/2 inch rainbow trout.
