Looking for hunting spot in NY

Im looking for a good area to hunt coyotes in N.Y., I live in Whitesboro and i have a camp in Inlet. Also looking for a good area for whitetails, next year i will be old enough to hunt them legaly.

What area are you looking at? NY is a big state. Since you mentioned being old enough to hunt next year, I guess you won't be able to travel far. check out the DEC website, they have plenty of good info on places to hunt. Give me a more specific location and maybe I can help you. Sonny

Whitesboro, near Utica?

Yotes are all over there. I'd suggest getting to know the local landowners (farmers). I know several trappers in the area who take yotes in good numbers there.

There's plenty of public land only a short drive from there for deer hunting. Check with the DEC, and adirondack park areas.
